History and Future of YCAP

After the first pilot programme in 2010 where four provinces participated, the impact and success of the Youth Citizens Action Programme became apparent.

Three years later, with participation of each of the nine provinces each year totally 1080 schools and up to 10,800 learners,  the expansion of the programme is necessary.

This is the reason Empowervate was set up – to expand YCAP and introduce new programmes for the empowerment and motivation of the youth in South Africa.
